Multi-Dimensional Interpretation

Horizon tracker

Headwave now includes a state-of-the-art horizon tracker. This has impact on both processing as well as interpretation projects. Distinct to other trackers in the industry, Headwave’s tracker allows the user to track events in both post stack and prestack domains.

Horizon Tracking Features

Track horizons quickly and easily in post stack using GPU assisted wavelet or amplitude based tracking
Edit/delete/join/smooth/clip operations are directly available to assist you in the process
Use existing post stack horizon (whether tracked in Headwave or in a 3rd party application) to seed tracking in the prestack domain
The prestack derived attributes (trace, count, others) will help you identify problematic areas and build confidence in your interpretation.

RMO Analysis (delta-t)

Relying on our auto-tracker you can quickly and easily track events in the prestack domain.
The delta-t (computed as the difference between t0 and the actual event) is available for visual inspection and can also be exported for use in other packages.
